Koreans create a flexible memory

I did some investigation on what is a memristor and that's what I found out:
Memristor is a new technology, although the prediction of its possible existence was long ago, in 1971.In fact the memristor is the same resistor (resistance), but it differs in that you apply to it a heavy load, its resistance will increase many times and the resistance will remain even after disconnecting the load, can see more details in Wikipedia. It turns out that the memristor can be used as a read-only memory, hence the name actually.

Large companies on the basis of developing a memristor, a permanent memory. The main objective of the new technology to replace the one already used in flash memory, hard drives and later, and even memory.

In my opinion the new technology is much more important application ... Memristors is what was missing for the creation of artificial neurons.
